The Wall

This not a poem.I don't know how to write poetry. :D It's just some random thing I came up with while emo-ing at a J.CO Donuts and Coffee shop a while back. =3=

Have you ever felt you've come to a dead end before
Suddenly the path so familiar becomes alien to you
A feeling that a silent betrayal has taken place
When you look ahead and all you see is a wall
Standing in your path
With promises that there is nothing on the other side
So you just stand there
Thinking
Wondering what you are supposed to do
No present knowledge you posses able to aid you
You try to peer over it but it seems to high
You try to dig under it but the ground seems to hard
Maybe you should climb it or break it down
Should you just find another way around
Turn back and find your way to familiar soil
What if its too late
Consternation sets in
Time is running out
The silent sentinel still stands mercilessly in your path
You cry to the heavens for a answer
You hope someone comes along with a solution
Palpitations, the heart grows weary
Trying to remain calm now is like treading water in a whirlpool
So you remain standing there
Staring at the wall
Stubbornly refusing to divulge its secrets
With a sinister smile on its dark face
Hopelessly, helplessly
Starring
With such misery that comes with failure
Failure to expect the wall
Fingers bleed profusely as you unconsciously scratch at the wall
In the shadows you continue to glare at it
Starring with what little remains of your sanity
Starring at the wall
